Safeguarding

All the FCT teachers are Safeguarding trained. We fully understand the importance of keeping each child safe.
FCT understand their obligation to ensure children's safety and the process to follow should a disclosure be made to them.
All the FCT teachers have a current DBS certificate and will carry photograph identification cards.

   Teaching and Learning

FCT teachers strongly believe in the importance of providing an individualised learning programme. Learning that is accurately matched to the child's interests, strengths. Learning that promotes confidence and the ability to transfer skills to all areas of the curriculum.

Parent/Child/Tutor Agreement

At FCT we value the support and involvement of parents/carers.
FCT will provide a Teaching and Learning agreement to be signed and agreed by all parties. This agreement details the expectations for the delivery of the teaching and the expectations for parents/carers and the child.
Following the initial meeting to establish strengths, interests and areas of challenge the FCT teachers will provide a Coaching Record and a Target, monitoring and evaluation record sheet.
